How To Set Your Default Brand Settings for ListSend

Adjust your default brand settings for your event emails (ListSend) so that they use your logo and brand colors by default.

How to Set Up Brand Settings in ListSend

This guide walks you through configuring your default brand settings in ListSend so your emails reflect your organization's look and feel.

Step 1: Open Brand Settings

In ListSend, locate the left-side navigation menu and click on Brand Settings.

Step 2: Set Your Colors

You will see several color options. You can enter a hex code or use the color picker for each:

  • Button Color -- the default color for call-to-action buttons in your emails
  • Accent Color -- not widely used in the current version of the builder, but may be used in future updates
  • Email Background Color -- the background color of the full email
  • Content Background Color -- the background color of the content area inside the email builder

Step 3: Configure Your Logo

Click the Logo tab. You have two options:

  • Enter a URL -- paste in the web address of your logo image
  • Upload an image -- after uploading, the system will generate a URL and display a preview

Once your logo is added, configure the following:

  • Width -- the default is 50, but for horizontal logos, a width of 150 to 200 is recommended depending on your preference
  • Logo Alt Text -- add a short description of the logo image so recipients see descriptive text if the image fails to load

Step 4: Preview Your Email

On the right side of the Brand Settings screen, click the Load Preview button. to see an example of how an email will appear with your current color and logo settings.

Step 5: Choose Your Font

A few font options are available in the brand settings. If your organization uses a specific custom font that is not listed, contact the ListSend sales team to request it be added. Custom fonts are most easily supported if they are available in the Google Fonts library.

Step 6: Customize Your Footer

A default footer is already included in all emails. In the footer section of Brand Settings, you can add custom text or content.

The Show Social Links toggle is on by default. When enabled, it will automatically pull in the social media links from your Event Vesta org settings. To update those links:

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Navigate to Org Settings
  3. Go to Social Links near the bottom.
  4. Add or update links for Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and your website

Once saved there, those links will appear in the footer of any emails you send through ListSend. You can turn the social links off in Brand Settings if you prefer not to include them.

Step 7: Save Your Settings

When you are finished, click Save Settings in the top right corner of the page.

Settings do not save automatically, so make sure to click this button after making any changes, including uploading a logo or changing a color.

What Your Brand Settings Apply To

Once saved, your brand settings become the defaults for all new campaigns. When you create a new campaign, buttons will use your selected button color, and the email will automatically include the header (with your logo) and footer (with your social links) as configured here.
